• Chris Titchner to Perform Lyle's New Song at Nectar's - Lyle's friend and colleague Chris Titchner will be performing a free show at Nectar's this Saturday (July 26, 7pm).  Although Lyle is unable to join him on stage during the show Chris will be performing a brand new song of Lyle's that has never been heard called "Shot in the Arm."  This is Chris' first Burlington show since his last New England tour three years ago.

• Wheels Finally Turning on New Album - Lyle will be rehearsing with the rhythm section for the new album during March and hitting the studio to begin the recording process in early April. Lyle hopes to release the album in the fall of 2008.

• 5 A.M. Now Available Through iTunes and CDBaby.com - You can now purchase both Left Standing and 5 A.M. through iTunes & CDbaby.com. Look for 5 A.M. to join Left Standing on other digital distribution sites throughout the next month.

• MySpace - Lyle's MySpace page now features six songs instead of four, including a new exclusive demo you can't hear anywhere else!

• Side Project? - No official announcement has been made but it looks like fans will soon see the launch of a new side project of Lyle's. Wanting a way to more freely explore musical ideas and projects Lyle is set to launch a new web site under a new band name. It won't be a secret that Lyle is driving the project, but he felt it made sense to keep this endeavor separate from his regular solo work.

• Album Recording Temporarily Postponed - Lyle officially announced the kickoff to his next CD has been postponed until further notice. Plans are still for a 2008 release but schedule conflicts and some direction changes have made recording the record difficult this fall. It's still in the works and there are rumors of some other bonus and side projects in the works to tide fans over in the meantime.

• Lyle To Team With Bridgefolk Records? - Nothing's official but all signs point to Lyle joining the Bridgefolk Records label for his next release. Lyle has already appeared on one of the independent label's previous releases, Chris Titchner and Sunday Rain Dog - Some Things Never Change, back in 2000. Expect some additional material associated with the move if it is successful including some exclusive mp3s and YouTube videos and the possibility of an iTunes Exclusive bonus release.

• Lyle and Lowell Thompson - On August 23 Lyle will split the bill with Lowell Thompson at 1/2 Lounge in Burlington, VT! You won't want to miss this unique show featuring two past winners of Burlington's premier singer/songwriter competition!

• New Songs Up On Prechorded Player - Hear two demos of songs that are slated to appear on Lyle's next full length album!
